RIVERSIDE, Calif. — In an exciting matchup on Saturday night, Kendal Coleman led the California Baptist Lancers to an 88-84 triumph over Kennesaw State. Coleman had an impressive showing, scoring 21 points and securing 10 rebounds for the Lancers, who improved their record to 2-0.
Joining him in the scoring efforts was Martel Williams, who contributed 20 points, shooting 5 of 12 from the field and a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line, along with six rebounds. Dominique Daniels Jr. had a solid performance as well, finishing with 18 points despite struggling from beyond the arc, where he went 0 for 6. He found success at the free-throw line, hitting all four of his attempts.
On the other side, the Kennesaw State Owls, now sitting at 1-1, were powered by Simeon Cottle, who scored 26 points. Adrian Wooley also had a notable game with 19 points, contributing six rebounds and five assists, while Ricardo Wright added 11 points to the scoreboard.
