YPSILANTI, Mich. — Jalin Billingsley turned in an impressive performance, scoring a career-high 32 points while securing 10 rebounds, leading Eastern Michigan to a convincing 83-58 victory over Siena Heights on Friday evening.
Jalen Terry contributed significantly to the Eagles’ win with 14 points and nearly a double-double, adding nine rebounds to his tally. Yusuf Jihad chipped in with 10 points, showing effectiveness with his shooting by making 3 of 6 attempts from the field and 3 of 4 from the free-throw line.
On the other side of the court, Nate Houston III was the top scorer for Siena Heights, finishing the game with 15 points along with three steals. His teammate Kobe Clark also made his presence felt, scoring 11 points, grabbing six rebounds, and recording four steals.
Eastern Michigan established control early in the game by taking the lead with 16:23 remaining in the first half and maintained that momentum throughout. By halftime, the scoreboard read 40-33, with Billingsley showcasing his skills by accumulating 17 points in the first half.
