On the other hand, Jeanette Cass was running for public office for the first time. She has a diverse work background, which includes three decades with the U.S. Postal Service, along with experiences as a waitress and in various warehouse roles.

The election results were announced by media outlets, with Alford being declared the winner at 10:24 p.m. EST, solidifying his position for another term in the House of Representatives.
