Green faced no opposition in this election cycle. He has been a notable figure in Congress for nearly twenty years, initially winning the Houston-area district seat in 2004.

Throughout his tenure, Green has gained recognition for his persistent efforts to impeach former President Donald Trump. Earlier this year, he faced health challenges and was hospitalized after undergoing abdominal surgery.
