Republican Representative Scott Franklin successfully secured reelection for his U.S. House seat in Florida on Tuesday, triumphing over Democrat Andrea Kale.
The 18th District, predominantly situated in Florida’s central region, comprises several areas including the city of Lakeland, which is a key component of his electoral base.
Franklin has been serving in Congress since he was first elected in 2020 and has a strong background, having dedicated more than ten years to the U.S. Navy prior to his political career.
