Coward delivered an impressive performance, scoring 23 points and securing 12 rebounds, while Isaiah Watts contributed significantly off the bench with 20 points.
Coward showcased his shooting skills by making 7 of 12 attempts from the field, which included hitting three shots from beyond the arc and converting 6 out of 7 free throw attempts. Watts, a returning player from last year’s team that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, was efficient as well, sinking 5 of 8 shots including four 3-pointers and making all six of his free throws.
Nate Calmese added to the scoring with 17 points, hitting three crucial 3-pointers while also providing five assists for the team. Ethan Price continued the shooting spree, going 3-for-3 from three-point range, accumulating 16 points, and grabbing seven rebounds.
