Kelvin Yeboah had an impressive performance as he scored a goal in each half, achieving a milestone of becoming the fourth player in MLS history to score in five of his first six matches. This accomplishment contributed to Minnesota United’s 3-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night.

Minnesota United took the lead in the 16th minute with Yeboah’s header from the center of the box assisted by Robin Lod, who recorded his 15th assist of the season. Yeboah extended the lead to 2-0 early in the second half with an assist from Joaquín Pereyra, his first in four appearances this season. Yeboah now has seven goals in six starts.

In the 82nd minute, Hassani Dotson scored his fourth goal of the season after receiving a pass from Jeong Sang-Bin. Sang-Bin’s assist marked his second of the season and the third of his two-year career. Dayne St. Clair made one save, securing his fifth clean sheet of the season for Minnesota United. On the other side, Zack Steffan made seven saves for Colorado.

Following this match, the Rapids will head home to face the Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday, while Minnesota United will be playing against Real Salt Lake on the same day.
