In Salem Township, Michigan, a tragic accident occurred during the morning rush when an SUV traveling in the wrong direction on M-14 crashed into another vehicle, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, as reported by state police. The incident involved a Nissan Rogue heading west on the eastbound lanes of M-14, with the driver attempting to exit the busy freeway using an entrance ramp. The Rogue collided with a Tesla that was entering M-14 in Washtenaw County, leading to the fatalities.
The victims of the accident included a 53-year-old Tesla driver and a 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman who were passengers in the Rogue. The collision caused the Tesla to catch fire, and authorities mentioned that it is currently unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
