NBA Playoff Prediction Celtics Thunder Warriors: Who’s Got the Edge Now?

Let’s go, Dub Nation! The NBA Playoffs just hit maximum intensity — and the bracket is on FIRE after a wild Game 7 weekend.

While everyone’s been buzzing about the Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder, it’s time to stop sleeping on the Golden State Warriors, who just blew past the Rockets in Game 7 and look every bit like a team ready to run the table.

So now the question everyone’s asking is:

NBA playoff prediction — Celtics? Thunder? Or… WARRIORS?

Let’s break it all down, game by game, conference by conference, and get to the updated playoff forecast that’s got fans shaking and sportsbooks scrambling.

Western Conference: Warriors Back in Business, Thunder Still the Team to Beat

Warriors vs. Timberwolves (Prediction: WARRIORS)

We’ll say it again: NEVER count out the Warriors.

After a dominant 103-89 win over Houston in Game 7, Steph Curry, Buddy Hield, and Draymond Green are heading to Minnesota to face the surging Timberwolves, who knocked out the Lakers in five brutal games.

  • Steph is hot.
  • Buddy Hield is even hotter, breaking the Game 7 three-point record.
  • Draymond is barking again, and we LOVE that.

Minnesota’s no joke — Anthony Edwards is a beast, and Karl-Anthony Towns has been consistent — but playoff experience matters, and Golden State has it in spades.

Prediction: Warriors in 6.

Thunder vs. Nuggets (Prediction: THUNDER)

Here comes the heavyweight fight: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vs. Nikola Jokic — two of the league’s brightest stars, battling for control of the West.

The Thunder are the No. 1 seed, but Denver is climbing fast. After eliminating the Clippers in a blowout Game 7, Jokic looks locked in.

Still, Shai is on another level, and OKC has the legs, the momentum, and the fan energy to pull this one out.

Prediction: Thunder in 7. But it’ll be a war.

Eastern Conference: Celtics on Top, But Beware the Pacers

Cavaliers vs. Pacers (Prediction: PACERS)

The Cavs came into the playoffs as East contenders — but Game 1 changed everything.

The Indiana Pacers stunned Cleveland 121-112, stealing Game 1 on the road and putting major pressure on Donovan Mitchell and company.

Tyrese Haliburton looks like the future of the NBA. He’s been electric, and Indiana’s offense is scary when it’s clicking.

If the Cavs can’t win Game 2 at home, this series could be over fast.

Prediction: Pacers in 6.

Celtics vs. Knicks (Prediction: CELTICS)

Let’s be honest — Boston has owned New York lately. They swept the season series and won 4 of 5 matchups during their championship season last year.

But this is the playoffs, and Jalen Brunson isn’t playing around. He’s averaging 31.5 points per game this postseason and just drilled a game-winning three to knock out Detroit.

Still, the Celtics are healthy, rested, and stacked.

  • Tatum is focused.
  • Jaylen Brown is rolling.
  • Porzingis is ready to face his former team.

And let’s not forget: Jrue Holiday is BACK from injury.

Prediction: Celtics in 5 — maybe 6 if Brunson goes nuclear.

Updated US LIVE Prediction for the 2025 NBA Playoffs

Here it is — the updated NBA Playoff Prediction from US LIVE after the dust of Round 1 and Game 7 has settled.

Semifinals:

EAST

  • Cavaliers vs. Pacers ? Prediction: Pacers
  • Celtics vs. Knicks ? Prediction: Celtics

WEST

  • Thunder vs. Nuggets ? Prediction: Thunder
  • Warriors vs. Timberwolves ? Prediction: Warriors

Conference Finals:

Eastern Conference Finals:
Celtics vs. Pacers ? Prediction: Celtics

Why? Boston’s depth, shooting, and size are built for a long series. The Pacers will make it fun, but the Celtics close the deal at home.

Western Conference Finals:
Thunder vs. Warriors ? Prediction: WARRIORS

Why? You can’t teach playoff experience — and Golden State has it. If Steph and Buddy keep firing, and Wiggins and Draymond step up, this team’s going back to the Finals.

NBA Finals:

Celtics vs. Warriors ? Prediction: Celtics

We hate to say it, but Boston might have just enough firepower to pull this one off. Tatum and Brown are a two-headed monster, and their defense is next level.

That said… if it’s Game 6 and Steph’s within 5 feet of the ball? Don’t bet against him.

Celtics vs. Warriors Rematch? Yes, Please!

Let’s be real — the NBA needs this rematch.

  • The 2022 Finals gave us drama.
  • The 2023 Celtics got revenge with a title.
  • Now? It’s rubber match time.

If the NBA playoff prediction Celtics Thunder Warriors ends in another Boston vs. Golden State Finals, you better believe the ratings will explode — and the legacies will be on the line.

Can the Warriors win one more ring?
Can Tatum finally own the league?

Let’s find out.
