Model in Dubai Found Near Death after 10 Days of Shier Horror

A Ukrainian model vanished for ten days in Dubai — and was later found broken, bloodied, and barely alive on the side of a road.

Maria Kovalchuk, 20, told her friends she was going to a hotel party before disappearing. Her family grew alarmed when she failed to catch her flight to Thailand two days later.

No one heard from her again for more than a week.

Discovered With Horrific Injuries

Ten days after she went missing, someone found Kovalchuk near death. She was dumped on a roadside with multiple traumatic injuries, including a broken spine and shattered limbs.

Reports say she couldn’t speak when found. She was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors performed four emergency surgeries to save her life.

Her mother, Anna, flew from Norway to be by her side.

“She is receiving treatment,” her mother shared online. “Everything will be all right.”

Alarming Theories Surround The Disappearance

What happened during those lost ten days remains a mystery. However, Russian media outlets claim her family fears the worst — that she was forced into a sex trafficking ring and abused for days and crimes commited.

They believe she may have attended a disturbing party linked to wealthy “unknown sheiks” known for luring models and influencers from Eastern Europe.

These events, often referred to as “Porta Potty parties,” are said to offer large sums — sometimes up to $100,000 — to women willing to engage in humiliating and degrading acts.

Last Seen With Two “Modeling Agents”

According to her family, Kovalchuk met with two men involved in the “modeling business” just before she vanished. She later told relatives she planned to stay with them overnight.

A few days later, she missed her scheduled flight to Thailand. That was the last anyone heard from her — until she was found on the roadside.

Kovalchuk had no phone, no documents, and couldn’t speak when found.

“She has undergone four surgeries,” her mother added. “We still don’t know everything.”

Dubai Police Blame a Fall From a Building

Dubai police offered a different explanation. They claim the model’s injuries happened after she entered a restricted construction site alone and fell from a height.

Authorities say surveillance footage supports that version. However, her family doesn’t believe it.

Russian news outlet Shot reported that relatives insist she never would have gone into such a place alone.

“She didn’t fall,” one source close to the family said. “She was thrown.”

Porta Potty Party Rumors Resurface

For over a year, disturbing rumors about these so-called elite parties have circulated online. Videos allegedly show women being beaten, humiliated, and even mutilated by ultra-rich party hosts.

Some influencers have confessed anonymously to attending these events for money. They describe them as degrading, abusive, and dangerous.

Lawyer and activist Katya Gordon warned others to stay away from such gatherings.

“She was found dying on the road after a party with Arab sheiks,” Gordon said. “Girls — don’t go. Don’t take the money. You could be killed.”

Influencer World Under Scrutiny

The case has once again spotlighted the darker side of the influencer industry — especially in luxury destinations like Dubai.

Critics say some women are lured by promises of money and fame, only to end up trapped in dangerous situations far from home.

Despite luxury backdrops and glamorous photos, many of these young women face extreme risks.

“There’s a darker world behind the Instagram posts,” one investigator said.

Model in Dubai: No Charges Filed Yet

So far, Dubai police have not filed charges against anyone. They insist the case remains open and are still collecting evidence.

Meanwhile, Kovalchuk’s condition has improved slightly. Doctors say she may eventually walk again, but her recovery will be long and painful.

Her family continues to demand answers.

“She went to a party and ended up almost dead,” one relative said. “We want justice.”

Investigation Ongoing

The investigation is ongoing in this dramatic case of this model in Dubai. Both local and international media have pressed Dubai officials for more details.

Kovalchuk’s mother has called for greater protection for young women working as models and influencers abroad.

“Maria went to work,” she said. “She didn’t go there to die.”

The “model in Dubai” story is gaining traction online as more disturbing details emerge. Many now fear that what happened to Kovalchuk could happen to others.
