Meghan Markle dazzles at gala as Prince Harry dismisses divorce rumors

Meghan Markle made a stunning red carpet appearance at The Paley Center Gala on Dec. 4, the same day Prince Harry publicly addressed persistent rumors about their relationship.

Meghan, 43, attended the gala honoring Tyler Perry, a close family friend and godfather to their daughter, Princess Lilibet Diana. Wearing a chic strapless black gown with a sweetheart neckline and a slitted skirt, Meghan paired her look with a diamond choker, gold Cartier bangle, and an elegant updo.

On the red carpet, Meghan posed alongside Perry and The Paley Center’s CEO, Maureen Reidy, exuding confidence and grace as cameras captured her radiant presence.

Prince Harry, 40, dismissed ongoing divorce rumors during his appearance at The New York Times’ DealBook Summit the same day. Joking about the frequent speculation, Harry said, “Apparently, we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. It’s hard to keep up.”

He expressed sympathy for those who spread such rumors, adding, “The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls. Their hopes are just built and built… and then it doesn’t happen. So I feel sorry for them. Genuinely, I do.”

Holiday plans and family moments

As the holiday season approaches, Meghan shared her excitement about creating new memories with their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. “Every year, it gets better,” she told Marie Claire in a recent interview, reflecting on the joy of experiencing traditions through her children’s eyes.

She emphasized the importance of family time, adding, “We’re always making sure we have something fun to do—like any other family. You spend time having a great meal, playing games, or someone brings a guitar. It’s always an adventure.”

Focus on family and resilience

Despite relentless public scrutiny, Harry and Meghan remain focused on their family life in Montecito, California. Their united front, both in addressing rumors and embracing parenthood, continues to highlight their shared commitment to building a strong foundation for their children.

As Meghan glowed on the red carpet and Harry took the stage to address speculation with humor and grace, the couple showcased resilience and determination to navigate life in the public eye.
