Louisiana authorities report infant’s death due to being left in hot car

In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a tragic incident occurred where a 6-month-old baby passed away after being unintentionally left unattended in a hot car by a parent who had gone to work for the day. According to authorities in Louisiana, the parent had left home in the morning with the intention of dropping the baby off at daycare before heading to work. Unfortunately, the parent proceeded to work and only realized upon attempting to pick the baby up from daycare later in the day that the infant had been in the car throughout the day.
The sheriff’s deputies in Baton Rouge have not disclosed further information regarding the incident. It has been mentioned that a thorough investigation will be conducted before any potential charges are considered in this heartbreaking case.
