Family’s worry grows as Lillian fails to return home after her walk
Lillian’s grandmother was watching her that afternoon. She gave her permission to walk to the nearby Abendschein Park, which was just a short distance from home. However, by 6 p.m., when the girl had not returned and stopped responding to calls or text messages, her family began to panic. They called the police for help, and the search began soon after.
Last known location at Abendschein Park: Community reports seeing girl alone
Phone data revealed that Lillian’s last known location was near the picnic tables at Abendschein Park. Several children who were at the park that evening reported seeing the girl sitting by herself. The police tracked her phone’s GPS to a location about a mile away from the park, but despite the efforts, Lillian has not been found. Authorities are still trying to piece together where she might have gone after leaving the park.
Community joins forces to find Lillian: Strong support for her safe return
Lillian’s great-uncle, Bob Czarnecki, shared his appreciation for the community’s support. “People have generously offered their help, whether it’s by donating time, printing flyers, or offering physical help,” he said. “The outpouring of support has been overwhelming.” He described the effort to find Lillian as emotional but comforting, as the community has come together to try and bring her home.
