LeBron James is causing an uproar in the fashion world.
The basketball superstar was named honorary chair of The Met Gala, the Metropolitan Museum of Art announced this week — and some say his long Diddy association should disqualify him from headlining the star-studded event.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is in federal custody after being charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The four-time NBA champ Le Born, along with Chris Brown and Kevin Hart, are some of the famous faces that could be named as guests at the disgraced hip hop mogul’s “Freak Off” parties.
After it was revealed that Combs allegedly had females engage in sex acts with male sex workers at his parties, a video of LeBron James, 39, saying “ain’t no party like a Diddy party,” resurfaced.

The storied spring gala will be titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” this year and will be held in May — it also named Formula 1-Driver Lewis Hamilton, Rapper A$AP Rocky and rap music star Pharrell Williams as co-hosts.
Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, a longtime trustee of The Met who is instrumental in the gala’s planning, will also serve as one of its co-chairs. She is now in the center of the storm with many fashionistas saying: “How could she do this? How could she desecrate this most famous fashion gala to a basketball guy who has no merits in fashion at all and a very troubled life story?”
