Bounced From the Bench

Lamar Odom broke down in more ways than one. The former Lakers forward was evicted from his Studio City mansion after failing to pay three months’ rent.

The landlord, Executive Recovery Group, Inc., sued Odom for $45,000 in unpaid dues. Odom, 45, never showed up to court. The result? Eviction.

No Money, No Mansion

Odom had entered a verbal lease agreement back in December 2024. He agreed to pay $15,000 a month for the luxury Los Angeles property.

But things went south fast. According to the suit, he skipped payments for January, February, and March.

The landlord claims they served Odom with several warnings. One was a final three-day notice to pay or vacate, dated March 11. Odom ignored it.

Court Shows No Mercy

By March 17, the landlord terminated the lease. In the filing, they demanded not just the $45K owed, but attorney fees and damages too.

The court sided with them on April 28. Since Odom never responded, the judge awarded the company full possession of the house.

Documents stated the daily value of the rental was $500. That made Odom’s silence an expensive choice.

Fame Fades Fast

The sprawling estate isn’t new to fame. Late rapper Mac Miller once called the place home and filmed his MTV show there.

Now, it’s just another vacant mansion with a headline-making history.

Odom didn’t comment. But this wasn’t his first public fall from grace.

Old Demons, New Struggles

The ex-NBA star almost died in 2015 after a drug overdose at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada.

Doctors said he suffered a dozen strokes and six heart attacks while in a coma. Khloé Kardashian, his then-estranged wife, paused their divorce to stay at his bedside.

They finalized the split in 2016. Since then, Odom’s journey has been rocky at best.

Trying to Rebuild

He recently opened Odom Wellness Treatment Centers to help others battling addiction.

Still, the road to redemption has been anything but smooth.

His financial troubles, public breakdowns, and awkward appearances—like his Season 6 cameo on “The Kardashians”—keep the spotlight burning.

A Star Dims

Odom once lit up courts and red carpets. Now, he’s lighting up courtrooms for all the wrong reasons.

With eviction orders and unpaid rent making headlines, the question remains:

Can Lamar Odom bounce back again?

For now, he’s out of a home—and out of time.
