Kei’Mani’s classmates and friends remember her fondly. One of her classmates, 13-year-old Kaylenna Bullis, spoke about her at the vigil. Kaylenna described Kei’Mani as a kind person who was always nice, no matter what. “She was really nice, no matter what,” Kaylenna said. “Even if people kept messing with her, she’ll always be nice.” Kei’Mani showed a sweet nature and stayed kind despite facing many challenges. Her friends and family will continue to remember her for the joy she brought to their lives.

As of now, online court records do not show if Darnell Jones has entered a plea or hired an attorney. The investigation into Kei’Mani’s murder is ongoing. This horrific crime has sparked an outcry, with many hoping for answers and accountability. Justice for Kei’Mani is what the community seeks.
