Karoline Leavitt’s Husband: Addressing Their 32-Year Age Gap

Karoline Leavitt’s Husband Sparks Public Interest

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s husband is a real estate mogul and is 32 years her senior. Nicholas Riccio and Karoline Leavitt tied the knot in early 2025, when they first met during her congressional campaign. Now, as they raise their infant son, Leavitt is setting the record straight about their unique love story.

How Karoline Leavitt Met Her Husband

Leavitt, 27, shared details of her relationship during an interview with Megyn Kelly. She revealed that she met Riccio, 59, at a campaign event hosted by a mutual friend in New Hampshire. Initially, they formed a friendship before falling in love.

Despite her deep feelings for Riccio, Leavitt admitted she had doubts about their significant age gap. “Of course, I thought about it,” she said. “It’s a very atypical love story, but he’s incredible. He’s my best friend, my biggest supporter, and my rock.”

Karoline Leavitt’s Husband Is a Private Man

While Leavitt is in the public eye, her husband prefers to maintain a low profile. Riccio is a self-made millionaire who built a real estate empire through Riccio Enterprises LLC. His properties, primarily located in New Hampshire and West Virginia, have contributed to his estimated $6 million net worth.

Leavitt respects his desire for privacy, explaining why he is rarely seen on her social media. “He doesn’t have social media, and he’s an introvert—the complete opposite of me,” she explained. “But he’s my number one fan, the best dad, and just the best man I’ve ever met.”

Their Fast-Paced Romance And Growing Family

The couple’s whirlwind romance quickly led to major life milestones. They announced their engagement in December 2023, and by July 2024, they welcomed their son, Nicholas Robert “Niko” Riccio. Just before President Donald Trump’s inauguration in January 2025, they made their marriage official.

Leavitt shared heartfelt reflections about motherhood after Niko’s birth. “The moment our son was born was the best moment of my life,” she wrote. “It’s true when they say there’s nothing comparable to the love you feel for your child.”

How Karoline Leavitt’s Husband Supports Her Career

As Leavitt juggles her role as White House press secretary, Riccio plays an integral part in keeping their family grounded. “He’s built a very successful business himself, and now he’s fully supportive of me building my success in my career,” she said.

Leavitt acknowledges the challenges of balancing public service with family life. “I walked into his life, and it’s been a circus ever since,” she joked. “But God bless him because he’s fully on board.”

Public Fascination With Their Age Gap

Their 32-year age difference has sparked curiosity and criticism alike. However, Leavitt remains unfazed by public opinion, choosing instead to focus on the strength of their bond.

“He’s the father of my child and the best dad I could ever ask for,” she said. “Especially during such a chaotic time in life, his support means everything.”

A Love Story Unlike Any Other

Despite the scrutiny, Leavitt and Riccio continue to embrace their love story. As she shares glimpses of their life together, one thing is clear—she has no regrets about their unconventional journey.

With their marriage solidified and their family growing, Karoline Leavitt’s husband remains a steadfast presence in her life, proving that love knows no boundaries, not even a 32-year age gap.
