Leavitt was already expecting when she joined Trump’s 2024 campaign, and she spent much of 2024 on the trail while pregnant. She gave birth on July 10, just days before rejoining the campaign as a spokesperson.

A remarkable comeback

Just three days after giving birth, Leavitt was already back in action, watching Trump’s rally from home with her newborn in her arms. The rally was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons, as Trump survived an assassination attempt on live TV. But Leavitt didn’t slow down. Only four days postpartum, she was back on the campaign trail.

A new role at the White House

Following Trump’s victory, Leavitt was selected as the new White House press secretary. Despite the demanding job, she continues to embrace motherhood as her motivation.
