Kardashian Upset as Kanye West Drags North Into Diddy Scandal

Kim Kardashian feels distressed after her ex-husband, Kanye West, included their 11-year-old daughter, North, in his new song. He posted the track, LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE, on X. It appears to feature Diddy, Diddy’s son Christian Combs, and North. The song begins with what sounds like Diddy thanking Kanye for his support and mentioning that no one else has reached out while he awaits trial. The trial includes serious charges, including sex trafficking. Kanye then refers to Diddy as a father figure. North makes a brief but noticeable appearance, rapping, “When you see me shining, then you see the light.” Christian Combs also has a verse in the track, causing Kardashian to be visibly upset.

Kim Tries to Block the Song But Fails to Stop the Release

A source said that Kim took legal action to prevent the song from being released. She also attempted to have it removed from X after its debut, which left Kardashian upset. However, her efforts seem to have been unsuccessful. Before the track was posted, Kanye allegedly shared and then deleted a series of text messages between him and Kim. In these messages, he reportedly threatened to go “to war” with her over North’s involvement in the song.

Screenshots indicate that Kim owns the copyright to North’s name and tried to use it to stop her from appearing in the track. Kanye appeared furious over this decision which left Kardashian upset. In the leaked texts, Kanye allegedly told Kim, “I’m never speaking with you again.” He also attached what looked like a legal document referencing “participation in this project.” Kim responded by saying that she had asked Kanye for permission to trademark North’s name years ago. She claimed he had agreed at the time. She added, “When she’s 18, it goes to her.” Kim further explained that she sent legal paperwork to prevent North from being in the song to “protect her.”

Kim is deeply concerned about North being linked to Diddy, who is currently facing federal sex trafficking allegations. She has reportedly been working behind the scenes to keep North away from the situation. According to insiders, North recently visited Kanye’s studio for the first time in weeks. TMZ reports that she recorded vocals for the track, believing it was part of his upcoming Sunday Service project. However, this led to Kardashian being upset.

A source close to Kim says she is determined to protect her kids from Kanye’s hateful speech. Upset by the situation, she has taken legal steps to keep North out of Kanye’s music projects. She also asked a judge to prevent Kanye from exposing their children to his public controversies. Insiders claim Kim sent Kanye cease-and-desist letters demanding that he not move forward with the song’s release.

Kanye Allegedly Agrees to Hold Off but the Song Still Gets Released

Reports indicate that an emergency hearing took place regarding the matter, but Kanye did not attend. He allegedly agreed to delay the song’s release, leaving Kardashian upset. However, the track is now online, fueling more controversy. Kim is said to be devastated over this development.

Kanye Revives Sunday Service With a Strict New Appearance Rule

In the midst of this drama, Kanye is reviving his gospel choir, Sunday Service, but with a new requirement. He recently announced auditions for male singers in Los Angeles, inviting participants—including children as young as five—to try out. However, there’s a new rule for those selected. Kanye stated that while auditions don’t require a shaved head, those who join the choir must shave theirs. This rule has sparked mixed reactions, adding to the controversy.
