JFK Conspiracy: ‘Deep State’ had Motive to Kill Kennedy

The newly declassified JFK assassination files are reigniting long-standing conspiracy theories. Among them is the idea that the so-called “deep state” had a role in President John F. Kennedy’s murder. According to journalist Glenn Greenwald, the documents prove that a secret power structure within the government is not just a theory but a reality.

JFK Adviser Warned of CIA’s Power

One of the most shocking revelations comes from a 1961 memo written by Arthur Schlesinger, Kennedy’s top adviser. In the 15-page document, Schlesinger called for dismantling the CIA, warning that the agency had become a “state within a state.”

He questioned how many foreign policy problems were being created by clandestine CIA operations without the president’s knowledge. His words now fuel suspicions that Kennedy’s efforts to control the intelligence community may have played a role in his assassination.

Trump Releases 80,000 Pages of JFK Files

President Donald Trump ordered the release of 80,000 pages of classified JFK assassination records. The National Archives posted over 2,200 documents online, adding to the millions of pages already available.

Trump, while visiting the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, said, “We have a tremendous amount of paper. You’ve got a lot of reading.”

Was the CIA Involved?

For decades, conspiracy theorists have suggested that the CIA was either directly involved in Kennedy’s murder or turned a blind eye. The newly released files include reports that could add weight to these claims.

One document from 1991 reveals that a KGB official reviewed Soviet intelligence on Lee Harvey Oswald. The report concluded that Oswald was “a poor shot” and that the KGB had never controlled him. This raises more doubts about whether he was truly capable of acting alone.

Oswald’s Arrest and Suspicious Death

On November 22, 1963, Kennedy was fatally shot while riding through Dallas in an open limousine. Lee Harvey Oswald, a former Marine, was arrested and charged with the assassination. Two days later, nightclub owner Jack Ruby shot and killed Oswald in police custody, preventing him from ever testifying.

The Warren Commission, created by President Lyndon B. Johnson to investigate the assassination, concluded in 1964 that Oswald acted alone. However, many Americans remain unconvinced and see a JFK conspiracy.

The files also reference other controversial theories, including the infamous “grassy knoll” shooter. Witnesses claimed they heard shots from a different direction than Oswald’s sniper perch.

Other documents suggest Kennedy’s opposition to the CIA’s secret operations, particularly in Cuba, may have made him a target. Some experts believe Kennedy’s desire to reduce the agency’s power angered key figures in Washington.

JFK Conspiracy: What Happens Next?

Historians and researchers are now combing through the newly released documents, looking for any evidence of a larger conspiracy. Trump’s release of the files has added fuel to ongoing debates about the deep state and government secrecy.

While no “smoking gun” has been found, the revelations strengthen suspicions that Kennedy’s assassination was more than just the act of a lone gunman. The truth may still be hidden in classified records, but for conspiracy theorists, the JFK files are further proof that history’s greatest mystery is far from solved.
