Jennifer Aniston dismisses rumor of romance with Barack Obama: “Absolutely untrue”

Jennifer Aniston recently addressed a bizarre tabloid rumor linking her romantically to former President Barack Obama. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Morning Show star was shown a magazine cover with the headline, “The Truth About Jen & Barack,” suggesting that Aniston and Obama were “obsessed with each other” and that his wife, Michelle Obama, felt “betrayed.”

Aniston, 55, laughed off the rumor, calling it “absolutely untrue” and joking about the absurdity of such tabloid stories. “Of all the calls you get from your publicist, where you’re just like, ‘Oh, no, what’s it gonna be?’… and then it’s that,” she said humorously. Aniston clarified that she had only met Barack Obama once and knew Michelle better.

When Kimmel jokingly asked if there was any truth to a potential relationship with Michelle, Aniston playfully denied it. The moment was a lighthearted reminder of how outlandish tabloid stories can be, and Aniston took it all in stride.

Aniston has been previously married to actors Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, and while she’s open to dating again, she expressed in a 2022 interview that she has no interest in remarrying. Reflecting on her approach to media attention, Aniston mentioned that she’s learned to ignore false stories, letting them “roll off” her back.

As for the Obamas, they recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary, with touching posts on social media commemorating their enduring bond.
