Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Finally Set Wedding Date

After almost two years of engagement, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez officially sent out their wedding invitations. According to Page Six, the couple will tie the knot this summer in Venice, Italy. This long-anticipated wedding will take place in one of the most romantic cities in the world, making it a grand event.

Jeff Bezos, 61, proposed to Sanchez, 55, in May 2023, four years after he ended his 25-year marriage to MacKenzie Scott. That same year, Sanchez also finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell. Since then, the couple has been inseparable, often seen traveling, attending high-profile events, and enjoying life on Jeff Bezos’ luxurious yacht.

Wedding Ceremony to Be Held on a $500 Million Megayacht

Instead of a traditional venue, Bezos and Sanchez chose to marry aboard their $500 million superyacht, Koru. They will hold the ceremony off the coast of Italy in June.

Earlier, rumors spread that the couple planned to marry in Colorado in December. However, those reports turned out to be false. Jeff Bezos quickly denied the speculation and made it clear that they would wed in Italy. With their history of lavish celebrations, this event will likely become one of the biggest weddings of the year.

Bezos Proposed With a 20-Carat, $2.5 Million Diamond Ring

Jeff Bezos made sure his proposal was unforgettable. He asked Sanchez to marry him with a breathtaking 20-carat diamond ring worth $2.5 million. Sanchez later told Vogue that the moment was so overwhelming she “blacked out a bit” when Jeff Bezos popped the question.

Following their engagement, the couple hosted a celebration on their megayacht in Positano, Italy. The event was attended by some of the biggest names in business and entertainment. Guests included Bill Gates, Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel, actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield, as well as Queen Rania of Jordan and reality TV star Kris Jenner.

Lauren Sanchez Made a Statement at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Sanchez recently made headlines with her appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. She walked the red carpet in a stunning white strapless mermaid gown designed by Oscar de la Renta. Many saw the elegant look as a hint that she is already in a bridal mindset for her upcoming wedding to Jeff Bezos.

Throughout their relationship, Sanchez stayed in the public eye, attending major events and supporting Jeff Bezos at business and charity functions. The couple even attended President Trump’s second inauguration in Washington, DC, earlier this year, making yet another high-profile public appearance.

Sanchez Will Join an All-Women Space Crew for a Blue Origin Mission

Aside from wedding preparations, Sanchez is also preparing for an exciting space adventure. She is set to join Oprah Winfrey, Katy Perry, and Gayle King on a Blue Origin mission this spring. The flight, part of Jeff Bezos’ space company’s New Shepard program, will be the 11th human flight for the company.

With wedding plans underway and a space mission ahead, Sanchez is proving she is more than just the fiancée of Jeff Bezos, one of the richest men in the world. She continues to make headlines, whether it’s for her relationship, her career, or her upcoming journey to space.
