Coming fresh from winning an Emmy, Jean Smart is set to kick off the momentous 50th season of “Saturday Night Live.” The season premiere is scheduled for Sept. 28 with Smart as the host, alongside Jelly Roll performing as the musical act. This marks Smart’s first time hosting the iconic show. Following her, comedian Nate Bargatze will take on hosting duties on Oct. 5, with Coldplay performing as the musical guest.
Ariana Grande is next in line to host on Oct. 12, accompanied by the legendary Stevie Nicks as the musical guest. As Halloween approaches, “Beetlejuice” star Michael Keaton will lead the show on Oct. 19, with Billie Eilish offering her musical talent for the night. Moving forward, on Nov. 2, “SNL” veteran John Mulaney will return as a host, with up-and-coming artist Chappell Roan set to perform.
