Jalen Hurts prepares on his hurt left knee for Eagles, set for NFC title matchup.

PHILADELPHIA — Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, fully participated in practice on Friday despite dealing with an injured left knee. This marks the second consecutive day he has joined the team in training, confirming his readiness to start in the upcoming NFC championship game.

The Eagles are preparing to face the Washington Commanders on Sunday, hoping to secure a spot in the Super Bowl for the second time within three seasons.

Hurts sustained his knee injury during a sack in last weekend’s match against the Rams. Remarkably, he did not miss any snaps during that game, which contributed to the Eagles claiming their ninth consecutive victory at home.

During the playoffs, Hurts has achieved a total of 259 passing yards along with two touchdowns, without throwing any interceptions, in wins over both Green Bay and Los Angeles.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni spoke about Hurts’ safety, stating, “We try to put Jalen in safe situations. We want him to put himself in safe situations. We understand that there are a lot of things that Jalen does in the running game that help us run the football. As we go through it, we do whatever we’ve got to do to win the game. But his safety is always at the forefront of our mind.”

With Hurts’ active participation in practice, the Eagles are optimistic about their chances in the championship game, with the quarterback being a key factor in their success this season.
