Insiders reveal why Brad Pitt settled divorce with Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt has reportedly settled his long-standing divorce battle with Angelina Jolie, clearing the path for his new chapter with Los Angeles jewelry designer Ines de Ramon. Sources suggest Pitt is eager to move forward, with plans to marry Ines in 2025.

According to insiders, Ines has encouraged Brad to finalize the divorce to focus on their future together. The couple, who have been dating for nearly two years, are said to be living together and planning for the possibility of starting a family.

Eight-year legal battle exhausts both sides

The divorce saga between Pitt and Jolie began in 2016 and officially concluded just before New Year’s Eve 2024. Both parties expressed relief, with Jolie’s lawyer describing her as “exhausted” by the prolonged legal fight.

Jolie focuses on family healing

Throughout the legal disputes, Jolie prioritized her children’s well-being. She maintained a focus on healing and refrained from speaking negatively about Pitt publicly. However, allegations of past abuse and strained relationships with their children have added complexity to their separation.

Ongoing disputes over Chateau Miraval

While the divorce has been settled, Pitt and Jolie continue to battle over the Château Miraval vineyard in France. The estate, valued at $62 million, remains a point of contention, with both parties open to a jury trial or mediation.

A fresh start for Brad and Ines

As Pitt moves on from his high-profile past, his relationship with Ines de Ramon has gained the approval of his close circle, including longtime friend George Clooney. Sources suggest an engagement announcement could come as early as 2025.

With the divorce finalized and plans for a future with Ines taking shape, Brad Pitt seems ready to close the chapter on his tumultuous past and embrace new beginnings.
