Once a fan favorite on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Siggy Flicker left the show in 2017 and stepped away from the spotlight. The outspoken personality found herself ostracized by former castmates after her support for Donald Trump came to light. But now, she’s standing beside Trump in a new arena.
During a recent speech, Trump praised her as “one of the greatest people in the world,” shining a light on her loyalty and friendship. At 54, Flicker has become a familiar face by Trump’s side at campaign stops, including at Mar-a-Lago. She’s danced with him to tunes like “Trump Won” and stood by him during pivotal moments of his political comeback.
Introduced by Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba, Flicker quickly connected with Trump, advocating for Jewish causes through her Jexit organization. She remains a staunch supporter, dedicated to bringing more American Jews to the Republican Party. Flicker, a proud Jew and daughter of a Holocaust survivor, describes Trump’s inner circle as warm and familial, especially at Mar-a-Lago gatherings filled with champagne, sushi, and camaraderie.
Flicker, who considers Melania Trump her “idol,” reveals a softer side of Trump behind closed doors. According to Flicker, Melania is a calming influence on him, and he holds her in deep admiration. Flicker notes that Trump’s love for music—everything from opera to Guns N’ Roses—humanizes him, making him more relatable than his billionaire status suggests.
Since leaving The Real Housewives, Flicker has claimed the show edited her to appear “crazy” due to her political views. The fallout was swift, but Flicker found a new purpose supporting Trump, saying, “If you think I’m going to turn my back on the greatest president of the greatest country in the world—you’ve got the wrong housewife.”
Flicker’s entire family stands firmly in support of Trump, with her husband, Michael Campanella, and even her mother joining her at Mar-a-Lago events. Flicker reflects proudly on her role, saying, “I am happy to support him and will always work behind the scenes for Republican Jews and for our country.”
As she and her family divide their time between Boca Raton and the Hamptons, Flicker remains confident that Trump’s leadership will “make [America] great again” and bring hope to those who share her vision for the country’s future.
