Horrible School Shooting at Wisconsin Christian School – 2 killed, 6 Injuries Reported

A tragic shooting unfolded Monday at Abundant Life Christian School (K-12) in Madison, Wisconsin, leaving multiple people injured, according to police. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, which has shaken the state capital and sparked an outpouring of concern.

Ongoing Investigation

The Madison Police Department described the situation as an “active and ongoing investigation,” urging residents to avoid the area. Roads around the school have been cordoned off as law enforcement, including agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), work to secure the scene and gather evidence.

“We will release more information as it becomes available,” police stated in their announcement, emphasizing the need for public cooperation.

Governor’s Response

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers issued a heartfelt statement in response to the shooting. “We are praying for the kids, educators, and entire Abundant Life school community as we await more information,” Evers said. “We are also deeply grateful for the first responders who are working quickly to address this tragic situation.”
