Grande, Chalamet, Erivo, and Yeoh to Present at SAG Awards

LOS ANGELES — The upcoming Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony is set to feature an impressive lineup of presenters that includes Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet, Selena Gomez, Mikey Madison, and other notable figures from the film world.

On Thursday, organizers revealed that Cynthia Erivo and Bowen Yang, both stars of the musical “Wicked,” which leads the nominations, will also join the ranks of presenters. The ceremony will be streamed live on Netflix, providing fans a chance to watch the awards as they unfold.

Timothée Chalamet has earned recognition for his role as Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown,” while Selena Gomez is part of the ensemble cast nominated for “Emilia Pérez.” Mikey Madison stands out with a nomination for best female actor in a film role, in addition to being part of the nominated group for “Anora.”

In addition to these nominees, previous SAG Award winners like Lily Gladstone, Michelle Yeoh, and Jamie Lee Curtis will take on presenting duties. The awards not only celebrate excellence in film and television but also provide a glimpse into the preferences of the acting community.

Set to take place just a week prior to the Oscars, this year’s SAG Awards are unlikely to sway Oscar voting outcomes, as the voting for that ceremony has already concluded. Nonetheless, the winners on Sunday will be selected by fellow actors, and the SAG Awards often serve as a solid indicator of potential Oscar contenders for the March 2 ceremony.

Harrison Ford, nominated for his role in the Apple TV+ series “Shrinking,” is also slated to present.

Other presenters confirmed include Colin Farrell, David Duchovny, Elle Fanning, Isabella Rossellini, John Lithgow, Keke Palmer, Lisa Kudrow, Marissa Bode, Millie Bobby Brown, Sergio Castellitto, and breakout star Yura Borisov from “Anora.”

The 31st annual SAG Awards will take place at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, starting at 8 p.m. this Sunday.
