Gordon Hayward announces retirement after playing 14 seasons with Utah, Boston, Charlotte, and Oklahoma City

Gordon Hayward, known for his almost game-winning half-court shot for Butler in the 2010 NCAA men’s basketball championship game, has officially retired from the NBA after a 14-year career. Throughout his time in the league, he played for various teams including Utah, Boston, Charlotte, and Oklahoma City, and was selected as an All-Star in 2017. With an average of 15.2 points in 835 regular-season games, Hayward expressed his excitement about dedicating more time to his family moving forward.
