Frank Dooley honored in National Hall of Fame for NM Sports

Dooley’s coaching journey began at Deming High School, his alma mater. He became most famous for his time as the head coach of the Deming basketball team. From 1963 to 1979, Dooley led the Wildcats to great success. Under his leadership, the team won four state championships and ten district titles. His teams also had a 72% win rate. In 2010, Deming honored him by naming the basketball court after him. This was a huge recognition of his work and lasting influence.
