FORMULA 1: Ferrari double victory at US Grand Prix in Texas – Vanderstappen holds Formula-1-lead after wild battle with Norris

The iconic Ferrari team reached a double victory at the Formula 1-US-Grand Prix at Austin / Texas. Charles Leclerc won by a big margin in front of his team mate Carlos Sainz who will be out of Ferrari at the end of the season.

Italy celebrated the Ferrari victory on Sunday evening with jubilations on the Italian streets because Ferrari is their most beloved sports team.

The fight for the third place became a wild duel between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris in their incredible duel for the number 1-spot in the formula 1-driver championship.

Norris overtook Verstappen five round before the finish line on the race track – but a 5-second-penalty put him back to 4th place again. The third place for Verstappen is a pre-decision for the Formula 1-Championship with Verstappen now 57 points in front of Lando Norris and only five races to go.
