Three individuals tragically lost their lives in a collision involving a senior living facility’s bus and a dump truck in southern Maryland. The incident occurred at approximately 8 a.m. on Port Tobacco Road in Nanjemoy, Charles County. Maryland State Police disclosed that the bus lost control and struck the dump truck. Officers indicated that the cause of the bus losing control is still unknown; however, they stated that impairment is not suspected to have played a role in the accident.
The bus driver and two passengers succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash, while the dump truck driver reportedly emerged unharmed. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased individuals.
