The 54-year-old First Lady wore a sophisticated navy ensemble designed by Adam Lippes. The tailored silk-wool coat, matching pencil skirt, and ivory silk crepe blouse were all handcrafted in New York City by Lippes’ team.

“The tradition of the presidential inauguration embodies the beauty of American democracy, and today we had the honor of dressing our First Lady, Mrs. Melania Trump,” Lippes said in a statement to The Post. “Her outfit was created by some of America’s finest craftsmen, and I take immense pride in showcasing their artistry to the world.”

Melania completed the look with black leather gloves and a striking navy wide-brimmed hat with white trim by designer Eric Javits. Her hair was styled in a sleek, pulled-back fashion as she attended a prayer service at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
