Erika Jayne Faces More Trouble in Ongoing Legal Battles

Erika Jayne, the famous Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, is facing more legal problems. Erika Jayne faces a default judgment in a lawsuit filed by the Marco Marco design studio. This news comes just days after reports that she’s headed to trial. The trial will involve Erika Jayne facing her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi’s bankruptcy trustee, who is suing Erika for $24 million. This lawsuit is connected to Thomas’ fraud crimes against his former clients. But now, a new case has made headlines. Attorney Ronald Richards shared an update, revealing even more legal challenges for Erika.

The Lawsuit Against Erika

The new lawsuit is filed by Christopher Psaila, who is one of the founders of Marco Marco. He accuses Erika of extortion and ruining his career. Psaila claims that Erika made false accusations against him. He says she lied, accusing him of making around $800,000 in unauthorized charges on her American Express card. Psaila also believes that Thomas Girardi used his legal power to take action against him. This new case has put Erika Jayne in even deeper legal trouble.

According to Ronald Richards, Erika Jayne’s attorney, Jim Wilkes, made a serious mistake. Wilkes failed to file the motion to dismiss properly. He also missed a key court meeting. As a result, the court struck the motion and allowed a default judgment to take place. This means Erika is now in a very difficult position. She’s on the verge of losing the case if things don’t change.

Ronald Richards shared his thoughts on social media, saying, “Erika Jayne faces hot water now.” He warned that she might lose the lawsuit because of this mistake. It’s a tough spot for Erika, who is already dealing with multiple legal issues.

Why Erika’s Attorney Made the Mistake

It appears that Erika’s team made some cost-cutting decisions. Her other lawyer, Evan Borges, wasn’t hired for this case. This might be because Jim Wilkes was the only one licensed to practice law in Florida, where the case is taking place. Another reason could be that Erika is trying to save money amid her ongoing legal drama. It seems she’s trying to handle things with fewer resources.

Personal Struggles with Thomas Girardi

While Erika Jayne faces legal battles, she’s also dealing with personal issues related to her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi. In January, during an appearance on WWHL: After Show, Erika opened up about her relationship with him. She explained that things ended badly with Thomas. “It’s just awful,” she said. “He was found competent and guilty. Now he’s in a place where they decide what to do about his sentencing. It’s all out of my hands now, and it’s just sad.” It’s clear that the end of their relationship has been tough for Erika, and she’s still processing the fallout.

As Erika Jayne faces continued legal battles, fans are also watching her on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The new season 14 reunion is set to air next Tuesday at 8/7c on Bravo. While Erika’s legal issues are far from over, it looks like her personal life and career are still making waves on the reality TV show.
