DUI and Cocaine: Marcus Jordan arrested after wild night at strip club!

Marcus Jordan, the 34-year-old son of basketball legend Michael Jordan, has found himself in serious legal trouble after a wild night in Florida. Known for his appearances on reality TV shows like “The Real Housewives of Miami” and “The Traitors,” Jordan was arrested early Tuesday morning on charges of DUI, drug possession, and resisting arrest.

The shocking discovery: Lamborghini on railroad tracks

The shocking incident took place when police found Jordan’s blue Lamborghini stuck on railroad tracks in Maitland, Florida, around 1:14 a.m. Officers were responding to a report that Jordan had fled from a traffic stop by Seminole County sheriff’s deputies minutes earlier. As the officers approached the vehicle, they immediately noticed the strong smell of alcohol.

Suspicious behavior and slurred speech

I stood at the window and immediately detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage,” one officer wrote in the affidavit. “The defendant kept saying he made a wrong turn and needed help getting his vehicle off the tracks.” However, Jordan’s slurred speech and confusion raised red flags.

Danger on the tracks: officers take action

As seen in body camera footage, Jordan and his passenger were on the tracks, with part of the car off the rail and stuck in the gravel. When officers warned of an approaching train, Jordan insisted on trying to move the car. But his attempts to accelerate were futile. The officers ordered him to exit the vehicle, fearing the train would arrive in less than five minutes.

Expensive car or safety? Jordan’s defiant behavior

Despite the danger, Jordan argued that the car was too expensive to leave behind. “I mean, the concern is this $300,000 vehicle,” he told officers, trying to push them to move the car. After further insistence, the officers stopped him from getting back behind the wheel, emphasizing safety over the car’s value.

“I’m Michael Jordan’s son” – Jordan’s resistance to arrest

Jordan’s defiant behavior continued as he told the officers, “I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son. I’m not doing anything wrong.” He maintained he had simply “made a wrong turn” onto the tracks.

When officers searched him, they found a small plastic baggie with a white powdery substance in his right pocket. A field test revealed it to be cocaine. Jordan, still uncooperative, tried to resist when officers attempted to place him in the patrol car.

On the way to the DUI center, police noted that Jordan’s speech remained slurred and the vehicle began to smell strongly of alcohol. Despite this, Jordan continued to sing loudly during the ride.

Later, Jordan admitted he had been drinking and had visited several venues in Winter Park and Casselberry, including Rachel’s Gentleman’s Club.

Posting bail and staying silent

Jordan posted bail by midday, but he remained tight-lipped as he was driven away from jail. At the time, it was unclear if he had hired a lawyer to represent him. A representative for Michael Jordan did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
