Meanwhile, President Joe Biden has experienced a decline in favorability among Black voters since taking office in 2021. The dynamic of the presidential race has shifted since Biden stepped out and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, who is striving to become the first Black woman and the first South Asian American to hold the presidency if elected in November.
