Doggy Day Care Bus Brings Joy to Two Dozen Pups

A Unique Way to Transport Happy Dogs

The doggy daycare bus has become a sensation, giving dogs a fun way to socialize and exercise. K9 Konvoy, based in Oconto, Wisconsin, offers this exciting service, transporting dogs in a specially designed bus to a private play area.

“A lot of my pet parents are working throughout the day, so this gets their dogs out for some interaction and playtime,” said K9 Konvoy founder Hope Mehlberg.

Social Media Loves the Doggy Day Care Bus

The doggy daycare bus has gained massive popularity on social media, with over 981,000 TikTok followers tuning in to see the adorable pups. Videos showcase dogs eagerly hopping onto the bus, celebrating birthdays, and wearing festive accessories.

On special occasions like St. Patrick’s Day, the pups wear themed hats and enjoy tasty treats. One user commented, “This video makes me rethink my entire career!”

The Journey From Idea to Business Success

Mehlberg started the doggy daycare bus to give her own dogs a chance to explore the outdoors. As demand grew, she upgraded from a small vehicle to a fully outfitted bus.

“That’s when I got the bus,” Mehlberg explained. “I never imagined it would turn into this, but I’m so grateful for the support.”

A Daily Routine Focused on Fun

Every morning, the doggy daycare bus picks up dogs from their homes before heading to a three-acre fenced play area. With about 22 to 26 dogs on board daily, each pup gets the chance to run, play, and socialize.

“The biggest thing for me is letting dogs be dogs,” Mehlberg said. “If they roll in the mud, that means they had a great day!”

A Viral Sensation That Keeps Growing

With an ever-growing following, the doggy daycare bus continues to delight dog lovers everywhere. Mehlberg remains committed to providing a safe and fun experience for all her furry passengers.

“I never expected this to take off like it has,” she said. “But I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
