DHL takes legal action against MyPillow, claiming $800,000 in unpaid dues from Mike Lindell’s company

DHL has taken legal action against MyPillow, alleging that the company connected to its founder, Mike Lindell, is in debt of nearly $800,000 for unpaid bills. This lawsuit adds to the series of legal challenges faced by MyPillow and Lindell, a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump who has been promoting unfounded claims of election fraud in 2020.
The lawsuit, filed in Hennepin County District Court in Minneapolis, claims that MyPillow has breached a contract mandating payment for all parcel delivery services within 15 days of invoicing. According to court documents, a settlement reached in May 2023 required MyPillow to make 24 monthly payments of $775,000 starting in April of the same year.
However, the lawsuit alleges that MyPillow has only made partial payments totaling $64,583.34, with the latest payment received on June 6. DHL notified MyPillow of default on July 2 and is now seeking $799,925.59 in addition to interest and legal fees.
Lindell mentioned that he was unaware of the specifics of the lawsuit but noted that his company ceased using DHL over a year ago due to a disagreement over shipments that he claimed was the fault of DHL.
Legal challenges and billing disputes are becoming common for Lindell, who is facing defamation lawsuits from two voting machine companies. His legal team also withdrew from representing him in those cases due to unpaid fees. MyPillow experienced financial strain last year after losing advertising support from Fox News and being removed from various national retail platforms. In February, a judge upheld a $5 million arbitration ruling against Lindell in a case involving data allegedly proving Chinese interference in the 2020 election.
