Comedian Nikki Glaser shells out $100K on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour for 22 concerts: “Totally Worth It”

Look what Taylor Swift made her do! Comedian Nikki Glaser has spent a jaw-dropping $100,000 to attend 22 shows on Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour since it kicked off in 2023.

“I want to be clear that we’re including travel expenses, hotels, flying and putting up everyone I invited, plus tickets and merch,” Glaser, 40, told People. The self-proclaimed ultimate Swiftie added, “I would’ve paid even more.”

Glaser Justifies the Splurge

The host of the upcoming 2025 Golden Globes explained how she rationalized the hefty cost. “I don’t have kids,” she said, noting it was a conscious decision. “It wasn’t the easiest decision, but once I saw how much it costs to raise a child, I thought, ‘No problem spending this on Taylor Swift.’”

Parents, she quipped, often spend comparable amounts on their kids’ hobbies. “People spend just as much on five years of hockey for their kids,” she added.

Despite the eye-popping price tag, Glaser called the experience “well worth it” and said she had no regrets. “I love the memories I’ve made, and the joy it’s brought me.”

Facing Backlash with Humor

Glaser admitted she’s faced criticism for her extravagant spending, brushing it off as jealousy. “No one shames parents for spending money on their kids,” she said. “But when I go to 22 Taylor Swift shows, it’s like, ‘How dare you!’”

The comedian also addressed complaints about ticket prices, saying, “If I didn’t buy the $6,000 ticket, some hedge fund guy would’ve bought it for his niece. I wish the world were more fair, but this is the system we live in.”

Taylor Swift’s Record-Breaking Tour

Swift’s Eras Tour has smashed records, raking in over $2 billion in ticket sales and reportedly awarding $197 million in bonuses to her crew. The pop superstar capped off her nearly two-year-long tour with a surprise Eras-themed bash, solidifying her reign as the queen of live entertainment.

Glaser said she takes pride in being part of the phenomenon. “I love knowing my money contributed to that success,” she shared.

For Glaser, the concerts were more than just shows—they were life-changing experiences. “Every penny was worth it,” she gushed.
