Brad Pitt and George Clooney are back together on screen in the first teaser for their upcoming Apple TV+ film “Wolves.” The 45-second teaser, released on Tuesday, shows the two Hollywood A-listers in a car, with George behind the wheel and Brad looking out the window. The scene is silent except for the sound of squeaky windshield wipers in the rain, creating a tense, mysterious atmosphere. Both actors have serious expressions, with George appearing annoyed and Brad’s eyes darting around as he reaches into his jacket pocket. The clip concludes with the film’s title flashing across the screen, building anticipation for the full-length trailer set to drop on Wednesday.
“Wolves” follows two lone wolf fixers—played by Brad and George—whose lives take a turn when they are assigned the same job. Not much else is known about the plot or their characters at this stage. Both actors took pay cuts to ensure the film would receive a theatrical release in addition to its debut on Apple TV+. In 2022, George Clooney revealed in an interview that Apple TV+ won a competitive bidding war for the movie, with multiple studios vying for the project.
The film was written and directed by Jon Watts, best known for his work on the Tom Holland-led “Spider-Man” trilogy, including Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). Watts has also directed the supernatural horror film Clown (2014) and the road thriller Cop Car (2015).
Brad Pitt and George Clooney have a long history of successful collaborations. They first co-starred in “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001), followed by “Ocean’s Twelve” (2004) and “Ocean’s Thirteen” (2007). They also appeared together in the Coen Brothers’ dark comedy “Burn After Reading” (2008) and George’s directorial debut, “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” (2002), where Brad had a cameo. Additionally, they starred in the 2012 play “8” by Dustin Lance Black, which was performed live on YouTube.
“Wolves” marks another exciting reunion for Pitt and Clooney, who have captivated audiences together in several beloved films over the years. Fans will be eagerly awaiting the full trailer to learn more about this intriguing new project.
