Bouncing back? Ben Affleck spends time with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter Kick after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce

Ben Affleck has recently been seen spending time with Kick Kennedy, the 36-year-old daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., amidst his ongoing divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

The pair have been spotted at several well-known locations in Los Angeles, including the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, sparking curiosity about the nature of their relationship.

This development comes on the heels of Lopez officially filing for divorce from Affleck after months of speculation surrounding their marriage. Although their relationship reportedly ended in March, Lopez cited April 26 as the official separation date, attributing the split to irreconcilable differences.

One reason for the breakup is believed to be Affleck’s discomfort with the intense media attention their high-profile relationship attracted. The constant scrutiny took a toll on Affleck, with sources recalling his struggles with the paparazzi during their 2022 honeymoon in Paris, reminiscent of the media pressure that contributed to the end of their first engagement two decades ago.

A source close to Affleck mentioned that the actor values his privacy and prioritizes his need for solitude, stating that he is unapologetic about taking care of himself, even if it means retreating from the public eye.

“He has never—and seemingly will never—give himself over completely to another person,” an insider told Page Six.

Meanwhile, Lopez is reportedly feeling disappointed and embarrassed by the end of their marriage, particularly because she had hoped that their love would endure this time around.
