Target Circle members can now buy one Brown Beauty product and get a second for 50% off. Don’t miss this sale featuring Blake Lively’s brand, available until April 4, 2025.
Blake shared the discount on Instagram. She posted a link to her product page on Target and wrote, “@target circle members… Buy 1 @blakebrownbeauty product & get the 2nd 50% off! Through tomorrow only!!”
Blake Lively highlighted the quality and scent of her products. She said, “We spent 7 years on the quality & results of these products. I’m proud of our team and every product. Not only do they deliver results, but each smells INCREDIBLE. You’ll see for yourself!” She ended the post with a smiling emoji.
Blake Lively launched her hair care line, Brown Beauty, on August 5, 2024. It’s available on the Brown Beauty website and Target’s website and stores. The line has eight products, priced from $18.99 to $24.99. At first, the products sold out quickly, according to CNN.
However, Blake claims her business faced a drop in sales after she says Justin Baldoni started a smear campaign against her. She believes this campaign hurt her businesses, including her haircare line.
Blake Lively Claims Smear Campaign Affected Sales
Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni in December 2024. She said the smear campaign caused her financial harm and led to a 78% drop in sales for her Brown Beauty line.
The lawsuit states, “The sudden negative media campaign depressed retail sales of Blake Brown products by 56-78%. This drop was not expected and was not aligned with the high satisfaction scores received from consumer testing.”
The lawsuit also mentions that Blake Lively’s other businesses, Betty Buzz and Betty Booze, were also affected by hateful comments online. These comments spread to social media and traditional media outlets.
Blake is currently in a legal battle with Justin over their film It Ends With Us. She accused him of sexual harassment and creating a toxic work environment on set. She also claims he started a smear campaign against her with his publicists.
In response, Justin filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist. He claims they shut him out of the film and ruined his career. All parties involved deny the allegations.
Legal Battle Over Defamation Lawsuit
Blake Lively’s lawyers have filed to dismiss Justin’s defamation lawsuit. They called it “vengeful and rambling.” The legal team said the lawsuit is an abuse of the legal process and has no place in court. They also stated that Justin could face up to $100 million in legal fees.
Blake’s team argued that the lawsuit should be dismissed because the law protects people who speak out about sexual harassment or file legal claims.
Blake and Justin’s trial is set for March 9, 2026.
