Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair dropped a bombshell on Friday, revealing she secretly had a baby with tech billionaire Elon Musk five months ago.
St. Clair, who has a million followers on Musk-owned X, made the shocking announcement to get ahead of “tabloid media” exposing the child’s existence. She claimed the press intended to report on it “regardless of the harm it will cause.”
Newsweek reached out to both St. Clair and Musk for comment via Tesla and SpaceX press offices, but no response was given as of Saturday.
Musk is already a father to 12 children from three different women: his ex-wife Justine Wilson, singer Grimes, and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. Tragically, his first child with Wilson passed away just weeks after birth due to sudden infant death syndrome.
The billionaire has been vocal about declining birth rates, warning in October 2024 that it could lead to “mass extinction of entire nations.”
On Friday, St. Clair posted “Alea iacta est”—Latin for “the die is cast”—alongside her official statement. She confirmed the baby was born five months ago and Musk is the father. She said she kept the news private to protect their child’s safety.
There is confusion about St. Clair’s age, with British tabloid The Sun reporting she’s 26, while The New York Post claims she’s 31.
St. Clair previously wrote for The Babylon Bee, the conservative satire site Musk reinstated on X after its controversial ban. In 2021, she published Elephants Are Not Birds, a children’s book critiquing transgender ideology.
She also made headlines as a model in Ultra Right’s Real Women of America 2024 Calendar, appearing in a bubble bath wearing a black bra and pearls—a nod to Dylan Mulvaney’s infamous Bud Light ad.
In 2023, she sparked outrage after tweeting about being on a flight with “migrants who crossed the border and are being shipped to New York.”
Following her baby bombshell, an old post from November 2023 resurfaced. St. Clair wrote, “Stopping birth control and Adderall was one of the best things I ever did for my mental health.” Musk’s response? “For sure.”
Right-wing commentator Candace Owens came to St. Clair’s defense, blasting the media: “Children should always be off limits. Journalists are parasites.”
Jack Posobiec, editor of Human Events, added, “God bless you and your family, Ash.”
While Musk remains active on X, posting about VP JD Vance’s Munich speech, Indian PM Narendra Modi’s visit, and his rocket launches, he has yet to publicly address his alleged new child. Will he break his silence? Stay tuned!
