Art Plane Transformed into Las Vegas Party Spot

A substantial fragment of a retired jumbo jet, which gained notoriety as a unique party space at the 2017 Burning Man Festival, is set to embark on a new chapter close to the Las Vegas Strip.

Recently, the cockpit and a portion of the fuselage of the Boeing 747 were relocated from their previous position at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to a vibrant entertainment hub known as AREA15, situated in the northern part of the city. This district is recognized for its captivating immersive art experiences, including the likes of Meow Wolf.

The jet, which underwent significant interior modifications after its stint in the Black Rock Desert during the famed Nevada festival, will now be repurposed into an event and nightlife venue within AREA15.

“We aim to honor the artistic community and provide dynamic and immersive experiences to enjoy art,” stated Pearl Verzosa, the marketing director for the district. “Our vision is inclusivity; we want this space to be available for everyone—families, friends, partners—all to share in a memorable experience. The airplane will undoubtedly become a highlighted destination for such special occasions.”
