Angelina Jolie’s Kids urged her to speak ip in Divorce Battle

Angelina Jolie finally signed off on her messy divorce from Brad Pitt on Christmas Day, ending an eight-year battle. Her six children reportedly played a major role in encouraging her to stand her ground.

Kids encouraged Jolie to stand her Ground

The kids have seen firsthand how power and privilege can silence people. “They’ve watched others dismiss pain and ignore voices that matter,” the insider revealed. But while her children wanted her to defend herself publicly, Angelina chose a different path. “She reminds them to focus on changing laws instead of telling personal stories.”

Custody of the youngest Twins

At 49, the Maria actress still has primary custody of her youngest children, 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. The twins’ father, Brad Pitt, is 61. Meanwhile, five of their older siblings seem estranged from the Wolfs producer. Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and Vivienne have all dropped the surname “Pitt” from their names. Pax, 21, once called Brad a “world-class a**hole” and a “despicable person” in a shocking Instagram post. Maddox, now 23, reportedly had a physical altercation with Brad aboard a private jet back in 2016.

Jolie respects her Kids’ Privacy

Angelina has always respected her children’s need for privacy. Speaking to Good Morning America on November 21, she said, “None of my children want to be in front of the camera right now. They’re quite private. Shiloh, especially, is extremely private. They weren’t born with privacy, but I hope they can have it as they grow.

The Brangelina Saga and legal Battles

The former Hollywood power couple, once known as “Brangelina,” didn’t have a prenup. They were only officially married from 2014 to 2016, but their romance began on the 2004 set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. That affair led to Brad’s 2005 divorce from Jennifer Aniston. Since then, their split has been a whirlwind of legal battles and tabloid headlines.

Fight over Château Miraval

One of the biggest sticking points in their divorce? Their 1,200-acre winery, Château Miraval, in Correns, France. The stunning estate, worth a staggering $164 million, is where Angelina and Brad tied the knot. They bought the 35-room property together for $28.4 million in 2011. However, things got ugly in 2021 when Brad sued Angelina. She had sold her stake in the winery to the Stoli Group without his consent, which led to a heated countersuit. Angelina had initially offered to settle the matter but backed out over a non-disclosure agreement she found unacceptable.

Career Triumph despite personal Struggles

While her personal life has been chaotic, Angelina has continued to shine professionally. Her performance as legendary opera singer Maria Callas in Pablo Larraín’s biopic Maria has earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) at the upcoming 82nd Golden Globe Awards. The ceremony airs this Sunday on CBS/Paramount+.

Tough Competition at the Golden Globes

The competition is fierce. Angelina is up against Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl), Nicole Kidman (Babygirl), Tilda Swinton (The Room Next Door), Fernanda Torres (I’m Still Here), and Kate Winslet (Lee).

Moving forward with Family Focus

Angelina’s journey post-Brad hasn’t been easy, but she’s determined to keep moving forward. Her children remain her biggest inspiration. As they grow older, their encouragement and strength have helped her face even the toughest battles. And while the world watches, Angelina stays focused on what matters most: family and personal growth.
