Allen Weisselberg, ex-Trump executive, freed from incarceration following perjury sentence.

Retired Trump Organization executive Allen Weisselberg was released from New York City’s Rikers Island jail on Friday following a conviction for perjury, online records show. Weisselberg, the former chief financial officer of Donald Trump’s real estate company, pleaded guilty in March to lying under oath during his testimony in a fraud lawsuit brought by New York’s attorney general against the former president. He confessed to misleading statements about the valuation of Trump’s Manhattan penthouse on financial documents.
In exchange for his guilty plea to two counts of perjury, prosecutors agreed not to pursue charges for any additional offenses that Weisselberg may have committed during his lengthy tenure with the Trump Organization. His attorney, Seth Rosenberg, expressed Weisselberg’s acknowledgment of his actions and his eagerness to conclude this “life-altering experience” and reunite with his family in retirement.
This wasn’t Weisselberg’s first encounter with jail time. Last year, the 76-year-old spent 100 days incarcerated for tax evasion on $1.7 million worth of company benefits, which included a rent-free apartment in Manhattan and high-end vehicles. Employed by the Trump family for nearly half a century, Weisselberg had testified twice during trials that were unfavorable for Trump, consistently downplaying any serious wrongdoing by his employer.
Neither Weisselberg’s lawyer nor representatives from the Department of Correction in the city responded to requests for comment through phone calls or emails.
