Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Taylor Swift will be among the star-studded faces at this year’s Super Bowl as the Kansas City Chiefs aim for an unprecedented three-peat against the Philadelphia Eagles. The showdown is set for Feb. 9in New Orleans.
The Chiefs secured their place in the NFL title game after a nail-biting 32-29 victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship. Meanwhile, the Eagles dominated the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC title game, with star running back Saquon Barkley scoring three touchdowns.
This Super Bowl is a rematch of their clash two years ago, when the Chiefs narrowly defeated the Eagles 38-35. Kansas City is coming off another championship win, having edged out the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime last year. No NFL team has ever won three straight Super Bowls, making the stakes higher than ever.

Kendrick Lamar will headline the halftime show, bringing his 17 Grammy wins and electrifying energy to the stage. He’ll be joined by SZA, with whom he shares hits like “All the Stars” and “Doves in the Wind.” Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins will oversee the production.
Pregame performances will feature Louisiana natives: Jon Batiste singing the national anthem, Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle performing “America the Beautiful,” and Ledisi delivering “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” American Sign Language interpretations will accompany all performances.
The NFL Honors awards show airs Feb. 6 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox and NFL Network, hosted by Snoop Dogg. MVP finalists include Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, and Lamar Jackson, with the winner decided by a panel of 50 media members.
