‘Alien technology’: Congress pushes for UFO transparency as witnesses demand disclosure of secret programs

On Wednesday, high-ranking witnesses testified once again at a Congressional hearing aimed at unraveling the mystery of unidentified flying objects, often referred to as UFOs or UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena).

These mysterious sightings, frequently reported near military installations worldwide, have raised calls for enhanced information sharing and cooperation among government and military agencies. Much of the criticism was directed at the Pentagon, with UFO researchers claiming that military officials continue to shroud the phenomena in secrecy.

New Claims and Whistleblower Revelations Under Scrutiny

One focus of the hearing was to address the claims made by whistleblower David Grusch in 2023. Grusch asserted that the U.S. government possesses crashed spacecraft and even alien remains, which are allegedly being studied in secret. Many hoped this hearing would shed light on these explosive allegations and lead to greater transparency.

Former NASA Deputy Administrator Calls for a Breakthrough in Disclosure

Michael Gold, the former Deputy Administrator of NASA, testified in Congress, calling for an end to the stigma faced by witnesses of unexplained experiences. Gold advocated for closer collaboration between NASA and the FAA to record sightings in public, transparent databases, arguing that research into “alien technology” could yield critical insights in technology, physics, and societal advancements. He also highlighted the need for international cooperation on this issue.

Navy Rear Admiral Details UFO Encounter and Pushes for UAP Disclosure Act

Dr. Tim Gallaudet, a former U.S. Navy Rear Admiral and Deputy NOAA Administrator, shared his own 2015 UFO sighting, famously captured in the “Go Fast” video, which showed extraordinary flight capabilities.

Gallaudet claimed the incident appeared to have been covered up and urged lawmakers to pass the “UAP Disclosure Act of 2024,” which would require the U.S. government to disclose all classified UFO information.

Former Pentagon UFO Program Leader Confirms Advanced Technology

Luis Elizondo, 73, former head of the Pentagon’s initial UFO program, reaffirmed the existence of UAPs, stating, “These display advanced technology that neither the U.S. nor other countries possess.” Elizondo called for a centralized office to investigate UAPs and better protections for whistleblowers coming forward with information.

Journalist Warns of Secret U.S. Programs

Journalist Michael Shellenberger voiced concerns about the U.S. government’s continued lack of transparency. He pointed to a rumored secret program called “Immaculate Constellation,” allegedly dedicated to gathering information on UAPs while keeping it concealed from Congress.

The hearing underscored the ongoing struggle for transparency and accountability in UFO research and intensified the public’s call for answers on this enduring mystery.
