Clippers swap Tucker and Bamba with the Jazz for Eubanks and Mills

The Los Angeles Clippers have made a significant trade, sending P.J. Tucker and Mo Bamba to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Patty Mills and Drew Eubanks.
The deal, finalized on Saturday, also includes a second-round draft pick in 2030 and some cash that will benefit the Jazz.
This trade comes ahead of the approaching deadline set for Thursday afternoon and was first reported by ESPN.
By making this move, the Clippers have managed to eliminate their excess over the luxury tax threshold, which could offer them further flexibility to make additional roster changes this season.
Bamba has played in 28 games for Los Angeles this year, posting an average of 4.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
In contrast, Tucker has yet to step on the court for the Clippers this season, as both parties agreed back in October that he would not remain with the team amid ongoing efforts to trade him.
Tucker originally joined the Clippers last season as part of a trade that also involved acquiring star player James Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers.
He is currently in the last year of a three-year contract worth $33 million, and there is speculation that he could be a candidate for a buyout.
Eubanks, who recently celebrated his 28th birthday, has averaged 5.8 points for the Jazz this season, while Mills has contributed an average of 4.4 points in his 17 games with Utah, bringing extensive veteran experience after being part of San Antonio’s championship-winning squad in 2014.
