China Mocks Trump, Musk, and Vance as Factory Workers

China mocks Donald Trump with bizarre AI-generated videos that show the U.S. president, VP JD Vance, and Elon Musk working in a factory. The clips have exploded online as trade tensions between Washington and Beijing reach boiling point.

AI-Generated Dig at U.S. Manufacturing Push

The viral video depicts Trump, Vance, and Musk assembling products on a production line—a clear jab at White House efforts to revive American factories. Chinese state-linked accounts have aggressively promoted the clip, which comes amid an escalating tariff war.

Meanwhile, Trump just announced a 90-day pause on some global tariffs, offering brief relief to markets. But he’s doubling down on China, hiking import taxes to a staggering 145% after Beijing retaliated with 84% tariffs of its own.

“No Threats, No Blackmail” Says Beijing

China’s Commerce Ministry slammed Trump’s tactics Thursday, calling them “economic bullying.” Spokesperson He Yongqian insisted Beijing remains open to talks—but only if the U.S. shows “mutual respect.”

The mockery doesn’t stop there. Last week, state broadcaster CGTN released another AI clip featuring dancing robots and frustrated consumers. One sarcastic jingle even targeted Trump’s trade policies: “You promised us the stars, but tariffs killed our cheap Chinese cars.”

Markets Reel as Yuan Hits 15-Year Low

The economic fallout is intensifying. China’s currency just plunged to its weakest level against the dollar since the 2008 financial crisis. Experts warn the tit-for-tat tariffs could slam global growth.

Trump, however, remains optimistic. At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, he predicted the two nations would eventually strike a deal that’s “very good for both countries.”

What’s Next in the Trade War?

With China vowing to match every U.S. tariff and now weaponizing AI memes, this conflict shows no signs of cooling off. As stock markets brace for more turbulence, one thing’s clear: the battle between the world’s top economies just got a lot more personal.
